THIS is vans camden!!

the latest london venture by vans/vfc launched last month in camden complete with original archive 'vibe case' supplied by yours truly! more of our vault items go on permanent display, showcasing the off the wall trajectory of original vans from humble beginnings in 1966, through the fast times of the 80's til going public in the mid 90's. we got good vibes about this 1!

highlights from my chance visit to vans HQ in CA earlier this year, including 2-storey cab image at the entrance & me in steve van dorens office! the vibe case archives were inspiring with some killer holy grail material. was a shame to see a couple retro pairs in place of the originals but still a high water mark in terms of the cultural significance of vans through the decades. get down to the new london vans store in camden for our latest contribution to vfc uk (pics on the way)! cant wait til its us the US team consult as the authority on MADE IN USA originals. not if, but when is the question. the seed has been planted. it is an inevitability & you know this!

pop down to vans london on carnaby street & check out our latest re-merchandising of our vintage archive which, over the last 2 years has become the staple spectacle in the flagship store! we have provided specimens from each decade from brand origins til the mid 90's. you may notice some never b4 seen pieces fresh from the pillow vault. it is arguably the strongest collection existing today which depicts the legacy started by the van dorens back in 1966. thanx must go out to our young apprentice steph, rich 'dickie' dawson & the guys at vans, especially charlie whom ensures our backs are not up against the wall, & instead remain off the wall!

situated in my very own hometown newport beach in sydney australia is this most quaint store known amongst local groms & wax heads as the authority on surf memorabilia & collectables. operated by the guru of beach life, one mick mock, little dragon is the destination for rare & unique surf & skate boards dating back to the origins of the pastimes. we are pleased to be offering our original pieces of swimwear & clothing to mick's eclectic mix of hawaiiana & island kitsch. so sydney-siders look out for our retro summer stash of new old stock including brands such as arena, sergio tacchini, donnay, adidas, panama jack, mambo & more. the attitude of gratitude goes out to mick for facilitating the global expansion of the other side of the pillow.
