new with singular defect, the right shoe was used for display purposes briefly in the 90's before snapped up by yours truly. the after-effects of light exposure can be seen best on the top picture of the toe area whereby the canvas shows mild discolouration, the friction tape minimal yellowing & the overglue slight darkening. this may or may not affect wearability. in the chance it does, you may see early separation between the canvas & rubber at the ball of the foot, which with original canvas vans is in most cases inevitable.... but negligible compared to the breakdown of modern vans re-issues. here endeth the lessen.
