dont be fooled by the age old eyelet trap when digging for og vans style #44 authentics & style #95 eras. remember that WOMENS SIZES HAVE 4 LACE HOLES WHILE MENS SIZES HAVE 5!! as such, many killer originals to men & women alike such as the disney collection, tapestries & velvet lines were ladies-only productions made with a more narrow last. the largest ladies sizes were often USw10 which is the equivalent of a US mens 8-8.5...... unless they were custom made for a gent that is!! velvet can be masculine. just ask henry the VIII.... & risk a beheading.
