a hunter-gatherer refers to one from a forager socity. hunting & gathering was the ancestral subsistence mode of homo, & all humans were hunter-gatherers until around 10,000 years ago.
we call ourselves stock-hunters! we & like-minded folk forage globally for deadstock & essentially search for the ultimate motherload. what we discover at times can be somewhat humbling. this pales in significance however to the relentless search for the perfect wave!
