vans produced a line of chukka boots in the late 80s whereby they have all the hallmarks of a style #69 however with white instead of brass antique eyelets, & lacking the leather collar. they also feature a chocolate brown rubber scene which complements & coordinates the cord laces & tan line, which therefore deserves them a place in the crescent island collection.
